I was playing around with the GIMP one day and figured out I could use it to map images to a cube, and that I could rotate the cube. Eventually this lead to the idea of making the neat little buddy icon you see here.
This animation isn't as full and smooth as I wanted it to be. Notice it's kinda jerky when the gif loops over. The cube doesn't actually do a full rotation, you see. The animation was taking up way too many frames and the filesize was getting too big; so I cut it off where it was.
Y'know, the cube almost looks like it's "walking." Hehe.
Never ended up actually using it for an icon, though. It sucks too much. I leave it as a reminder that I could make a better one... if I wanted to.
